Firm, rindless organic cheese with a light yellow interior, a soft and lactic aroma, and a butter and hazelnut flavour complemented with almond and fruit pit nuances.
Several varieties are available depending on aging time, including Ferme des Chutes (mild), Rapide Arcand (6 months), Chute à Michel (1 year), Chute à l’Ours (2 years), Chute Chaudière (3 years) and Chute Chaudière Réserve Spéciale (6 years or more).
Available in most specialty cheese shops and supermarkets.
Cheese curds
Flavours of milk, cream, and butter like a Cheddar from 30 years ago.. Juicy and elastic texture. This cheese keeps its juice (whey) and isn't too salty. Delicious.
