This firm cheese has been ripened for 3 years and is made with pasteurized milk from Ayrshire cows at the Ferme 3J. It has a smooth texture with a fruity aroma that’s delicate on the nose while offering a delicious combination of flavours to please any palate – sweet, sour and nutty.
Wondering where it got its name? This high-quality cheese was named La 3e Génération in recognition of the company having been passed down from father to daughter to the four grandsons, who now represent the 3rd generation, on the occasion of the company’s 30th anniversary celebration.
La 3e Génération is available at specialty shops and most grocery stores in Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean as well as at certain cheese shops across the province.
