Repined for 30 days, this soft washed-rind cheese is made with pasteurized milk from a unique herd of the region. It offers a slightly spicy and smoky taste and has the particularity of being nicely surrounded by a wooden strap.
Launched in September 2016 when Fromagerie Montebello celebrated its 5th anniversary, the cheese maker Alain Boyer named this cheese L'Adoray in honor of his father Raymond and his grandfather Adorice, the result of a mixture of these two names.
L'Adoray is currently available at the Fromagerie Montebello and in food stores located in the regions of Gatineau, Petite-Nation, Val-des-Monts (Perkins) and Ottawa. Visit the cheese maker's website for retailers.
