Le Caveau

Fromagerie Fritz Kaiser

M.F. : 24% Moisture : 48%

This semi-soft, washed-rind cheese is made from partly skimmed pasteurized milk. Le Caveau offers a pronounced taste of roasted hazelnuts and a woody aroma.

Serve simply with slices of apple or pear, in sandwiches, or melted on French onion soup.

You'll find Le Caveau mostly in restaurant menus, but it is also possible to purchase it in some specialty cheese shops, such as Fromagerie Hamel stores in Montréal and Repentigny.
