Firm
M.F. : 29% Moisture : 41%This firm, rindless cheese is made from pasteurized milk that comes mainly from farms in the Saint-Hyacinthe region. Carefully ripened for up to three years, its flavour of butter and nuts becomes stronger with age. Tiny salt crystals are perceptible when you take a bite, and its firm, crumbly texture melts in your mouth. In soups, on pizza, in salads, on burgers, this cheese goes well with all your dishes—even desserts!
Flavoured Cheddars
In addition to aged Cheddar, you can also find these varieties of flavoured cheddar to delight your taste buds:
- Port Cheddar
- Pesto Cheddar
- Garden Vegetables Cheddar
- Pear and Vanilla Cheddar,
- Garlic and Pepper Cheddar
- Jalapeño Pepper Cheddar
- Sundried Tomato Cheddar
These cheddar varieties are available from the cheese maker and in some grocery stores in Montérégie, from Granby to Longueuil, and in Montréal.
Accompaniments

These medium-bodied wines offer supple tannins that of ten carry a certain roundness. They are usually dominated by aromas of ripened fruit or woody notes (toast, coffee or vanilla).

These dry wines have a fruity, floral nose while offering a certain richness on the palate. Their acidity gives them a pleasant liveliness.
