This fresh cheese is made from pasteurized cow and goat milk. Its texture is soft and supple to the touch, which makes it ideal for spreading.

By daring to combine cow and goat milk, the cheese maker produced a smooth, immaculate white body. Looking out his window, he was inspired by the magnificent white coat left by Quebec’s harsh winter to name his cheese Chèvre des Neiges, the “snow goat.”

Awards and distinctions

This cheese has won many awards in its category, including, most recently, the gold medal at the 2012 World Championship Cheese Contest (fig and orange), as well as the 2009 silver medal and 2010 and 2008 Sélection Caseus first prizes (plain).


Accompaniments

Fruity and vibrant

These dry wines have a fruity, floral nose while offering a certain richness on the palate. Their acidity gives them a pleasant liveliness.
