Soft
M.F. : 40% Moisture : 45%This is a soft cheese with a bloomy rind made from pasteurized milk and cream. The rich, smooth, melting interior of the triple cream Brie offers subtle but tantalizing floral and sweet bread notes. The unique flavour of Lady Laurier d’Arthabaska is the perfect cheese platter accompaniment to Sir Laurier d’Arthabaska.
This cheese was named in honour of the great Lady Zoé Lafontaine, wife of Sir Wilfrid Laurier, who was MP and mayor of Arthabaska as well as the first French-speaking Quebecer to become the Prime Minister of Canada in 1896.
Lady Laurier d'Arthabaska is available from the cheese maker, at specialty grocery stores and cheese shops and in most supermarkets.
