Firm
M.F. : 29 % Moisture : 42 %Le Démon is a fresh, unripened, firm cheese made from pasteurized milk. This grilling cheese is much appreciated, especially when served with maple caramelized onion or berry jelly, which help bring out its exceptional taste. “It’s devilishly good!” Fried or barbecued, Le Démon releases its full flavour when grilled and served warm.
The name Le Démon is derived from its quality as a grilling cheese, and from the slogan that launched the product: “Diablement bon à griller” (devilishly good to grill).
Le Démon is available at the Fromagerie des Basques and in the refrigerated section of supermarkets, convenience stores and service stations as well as in several fine grocery stores and specialty grocery stores, from La Pocatière to the Gaspésie region and all the way to the border of New Brunswick.
