Fromagerie de Saint-Benoît-du-Lac

M.F. : 31% Moisture : 42%

Interior-ripened for at least 45 days, this orange rindless cheese is dotted with holes called “eyes.” It is firm and dense, yet elastic. Made from whole pasteurized milk, this cheese has a mild hazelnut aroma typical of Swiss Emmental cheeses along with flavours of almond and salted butter. This is the orange version of the Mont Saint-Benoît cheese.

Creamy St-Augustin*
Fans of St-Augustin will cheer when they learn that there is a spreadable version! Made from the original St-Augustin cheese wheel, this spread can be enjoyed just as a spread or to make sauces and dips, and of course this cheese is always a welcome addition to any cheese platter!

* The creamy St-Augustin is only sold directly from the cheese maker in Saint-Benoît-du-Lac.

The St-Augustin cheese is available from the cheese maker, at specialty grocery stores and cheese shops, and in most supermarkets.
