This fresh cheese is made from pasteurized milk using artisanal methods. It has a fresh, tangy aroma, and its milky flavour also has a tang to it. As its name, which translates loosely to “spreadable,” suggests, its creamy texture makes it a great spreading cheese.

Tartineux fleur d’ail
M.F.: 20%, moisture: 65%
With a hint of fleur d’ail, it is great for enhancing your sauces.

Le Tartineux is available from the cheese maker, in specialty cheese shops and in several grocery stores in the region.
