Vaudreuil Double Cream Brie
M.F.: 28%    Moisture: 50%
This soft ripened cheese with its consistent texture when young becomes creamier at maturity without being runny. Features a milky, nutty flavour slightly richer than that of single cream Brie.

Just 38 residents lived on the land when the village of Vaudreuil was named in 1702. Isolated by the impassible Lachine Rapids-where 3-metre waves were known to break ships in two-Vaudreuil grew slowly, out of step with the bustling nearby city of Montreal. Yet this meant farms stayed relatively unchanged for hundreds of years, preserving traditions like cheese making well into the 20th century. Today, Vaudreuil still keeps its farming heritage, honoured here in our flavourful Vaudreuil Brie and Camembert cheeses.

Vaudreuil Brie is available from the cheese maker and most supermarkets.
