- 250 ml (1 cup) rolled oats
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) puffed rice
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) oat bran
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) flaxseeds
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) dried apricots, chopped
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) dried cranberries, chopped
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) toasted whole almonds
- Zest and juice of an orange
- 10 ml (2 tsp.) honey
- 5 ml (1 tsp.) ground cinnamon
- 500 ml (2 cups) milk
- 250 ml (1 cup) Windigo, cut into small cubes
- 1 apple, diced
- In a saucepan, mix the rolled oats, puffed rice, oat bran, flaxseeds, apricots, cranberries and almonds.
- Add the orange zest and juice, honey and cinnamon.
- Pour the milk and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the cheese and apple cubes.
- Serve hot.
