Mi-Carême Lemon Burst


  • 4 slices Le Mi-Carême cheese
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp.) lemon butter, home-made
  • 4 turkey slices
  • 4 bacon slices, cooked
  • 6 spinach leaves
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
  • Bread chosen: Multigrain baguettine

Lemon butter

  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) butter, softened
  • 5 ml (1 tsp.) lemon zest
  • Freshly ground pepper


Tip: once a step is done, you can click on it to cross it out and go to the next one.

  • Preheat oven to 350° F (180° C).
  • Slice open the baguettine. Spread each half with the lemon butter.
  • Fill with turkey, bacon, cheese and spinach leaves.
  • Close the sandwich and bake a few minutes until cheese is melted.

Lemon butter

  • Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Set aside.
