Ingredients
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) Le Saint-Fidèle Old Swiss cheese, grated
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) crab meat, shredded
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) apples, diced
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) celery root, grated
- 15 ml (1 tbsp.) saffron mayonnaise, home-made
- Salt and freshly ground pepper
- Bread chosen: Brioche roll
Saffron mayonnaise
- 30 ml (2 tbsp.) mayonnaise, store-bought
- 5 ml (1 tsp.) lemon zest
- 1 small garlic clove, chopped
- 1 pinch of saffron
- Salt and freshly ground pepper
Preparation
- In a bowl, mix the crab, apples, celery root and cheese together.
- Mix in the saffron mayonnaise. Add salt and pepper.
- Slice the brioche roll open.
- Top one half with the crab mix.
- Cover with the other half of the brioche roll.
Saffron mayonnaise
- In a bowl, mix all the ingredients together. Set aside in the refrigerator.
Suggestion
- Try this recipe with: fredondaine or Mont St-Benoît.
