Improve day-old bread with our cheeses!
Are you stuck with a piece of baguette that’s aged badly and is well on the way to staleness? Here’s a tasty little tip to redeem day-old bread. Take a baguette cut in half lengthwise, add pesto, fresh tomato slices, finely chopped garlic, a drizzle of olive oil and some firm cheese, such as Hatley Road or Le Ménestrel, in fine slices. Bake for a while, add fresh basil, and enjoy.
