Mushroom and Melted Cheese Crostini
Mushroom and melted cheese crostini are simply heavenly as an appetizer. In a skillet, sauté a dozen chopped mushrooms in a knob of butter. Add 30 ml (2 tbsp.) of 15% cooking cream and reduce. Season with salt and pepper. Spread the mushrooms over the bread. Sprinkle with grated Oka or Saint-Paulin from here cheese to taste. Place rack at the top of the oven and preheat to broil. Bake for a few minutes.
